What we keep, and why.
This notice covers the Auteuriq website and the Cadence v1 early-access list. Auteuriq (“we”) is responsible for the data described here. Questions or requests: hello@auteuriq.com.
The film
The film is rendered in your browser. Chapter 12 reads a “characteristic” from how you scroll; it is computed on your device and never sent to us. We don’t use analytics cookies, advertising trackers or third-party pixels.
The early-access list
When you request access we store:
- your email address and the role you picked (creator, editor, studio or investor);
- when you agreed to be contacted, and the version of the wording you agreed to;
- how you found us, if your browser tells us: the referring site’s domain and any campaign tags in the link;
- your browser’s language and the country your connection comes from.
We use this only to contact you about Cadence early access and the research preview, and to understand which channels bring people in. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Keeping the form safe
To stop spam and abuse we check each submission with Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at technical signals from your browser (see Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum). We also rate-limit submissions per connection. For that we keep a one-way keyed hash of your IP address and your network’s identifier, never the address itself, for 90 days, after which it is deleted automatically. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
Who else sees it
We never sell or share the list. The site, its database and the bot check run on Cloudflare, which processes the data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Your signup is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the early-access programme ends, whichever comes first. Abuse-prevention records are deleted after 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to hello@auteuriq.com. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this notice changes, we’ll update the date above. If a change affects how we use data you’ve already given us, we’ll ask again first.
